Kitchen – Did you use all those specialty baking pans and serving pieces over the holidays? Do you really want to hold onto them for another year?

We understand that individuals can frequently be overwhelmed by the tasks that you are facing and do not have the time or resources to do it yourselves.

It can get overwhelming facing tasks that you do not feel you have the time or resources to deal with; especially the kitchen. You are in the kitchen every day socializing, cooking & eating. It requires so much regular attention that it can be hard to keep up with sometimes. There are days that it is much easier to put that Christmas tray in the Tupperware drawer rather than getting the step ladder and putting it in that hard to reach cupboard above the fridge or stove.

On a daily basis, use these tips to keep your kitchen clean.

Clean as you cook.

Have a routine after each meal; scrape & rinse plates, put away leftovers & condiments, wash & dry the large dishes first (ie. pots & pans), next comes the plates & cutlery, and finally counter tops.

Always empty the dishwasher as soon as its clean.

Empty the garbage regularly.

However spring cleaning your kitchen can be a lot more work than this. More often than not you have all the dishes you use regularly in the front of the cupboard – but what is tucked behind?

REMEMBER, like every other room you’re working on decluttering, have a recycling bin, garbage bag, and an amity pile. It doesn’t hurt to pop by the dollar store to get a few baskets or drawer organizers either. Start by doing a quick clean up to clear out the clutter and dirty dishes. Make sure the dishwasher is empty.

First tackle the utensil drawer. Once the drawer(s) is empty, vacuum out any crumbs that are left behind. As you start putting things back in one by one be sure to ONLY return the things you actually use regularly. If you have 4 sets of salad tongs, ditch at least 2. If you have more than two wine openers, put the extras in your amity pile. You get the point; don’t keep duplicates. If it’s broken, garbage. If it’s seasonal (ie Christmas cheese spreaders), put them aside to store them elsewhere. They are taking up too much space for something that is only used 1 month out of 12.

When it comes to cutlery, if you’re someone who has several sets all in one place, and your cutlery organizer is always over flowing; it’s time to get rid of some! Sort them by forks, knives and spoons with their matching sets. Whichever set is the most complete, should be kept in your drawer. All the others can be put in a large Ziploc, or a box, and put away for when you have lots of company over and need extras.

If you come across loose items such as ketchup, vinegar and tartar packages and loose toothpicks: don’t keep them. Chances are you haven’t needed them in the last 6 months and if you were too good for them then, you are too good for them now. Batteries, pens, candles, match books, twist ties, clips, etc. All of these things you will probably come across while going through your kitchen. Get little Ziploc bags out and keep them together. If their in a bag, you’re less likely to have loose items taking up space in your drawers. And you will know where they are when you need them.

When you’re using the same steps above to go through your cupboards, please consider the following. Is everything in a functional spot? Is there a kitchen item you’re always moving around because you just cannot find a good spot for it? How many salad bowls, serving trays, dish towels, oven mits & tupperwares do you actually need? How often do you use these items?

Items you only use 2-5 times a year should be kept on the hard to reach shelf. Items you use on a regular basis should be kept on the others. But anything you use seasonally should be kept in a separate space (along with those cheese spreaders, candle holders & patio dishes). If you haven’t used it in years, or you have duplicates of a tray and prefer one over the other – amity!

The Tupperware drawer can be a tricky one. Take everything out, and sort. Make sure each item has a matching lid. Don’t keep old sour cream containers, or anything like that as you do not need them. It is confusing when it’s in the fridge, and really, you can get 8 containers for $1 at Dollarama. Anything that doesn’t have a lid or a base – throw in the recycling bin. Because you did all of the dishes and emptied the dishwasher before starting on your kitchen, you know that they are no where to be found. Whether you have a drawer, or an organizer for your containers, place them back with their lids on & try to get in the habit of doing this all the time. It will be so much easier to find the perfect sized Tupperware for your leftovers, or your lunch when you’re not scrambling to find a match.

Everyone has a different kitchen. You may be someone who bakes a lot. Have you considered placing all of your baking utensils, cutters, pie trays, rolling pin & mixer all in one bin and in one place? What if you’re someone who buys a lot of napkins or candles? Have a drawer just for those items. Be smart when re-planning the organization of your kitchen. Be practical, and do what works best for you! If you’re not someone who bakes, why hold on to so many of those holiday cookie tins? Chances are you’re going to get more from friends and family next year, so just give them to someone who could use them, or amity. Those things take up wayyy too much room, and are so unnecessary to hold on to.

Tip: Tea, Coffee, Salt, Pepper & Butter Trays —> these items do not belong on the same shelf as your plates & bowls. There are skinny tall cupboards that are perfect for these things. Consider placing them near your spices.

Once again, don’t be afraid to PURGE! If you’re really creative try this activity that is based on having a Queen sized blanket in the middle of your kitchen. After following their list, and colour coding their items. The idea is that you will end up with items on a blanket that must go! Check it out: Queen Sized Clutter Checklist!

SPRING CLEANING TIPS:

Always start with your sorting & organizing before your cleaning.

Choose one area to tackle, or one item to tackle at a time; closets, books, clothing, paperwork, bedrooms, etc.

If you’re not someone who enjoys cleaning or organizing, set a specific time for this. Do 1-2 hours at a time. It is enough to feel accomplished, but short enough hat you won’t get bored, sidetracked or give up. If there is a lot to do, tell yourself ahead of time this is going to take several “1-2 hour shifts” before it is done so that you’re mentally prepared & not setting yourself up for disappointment.

Get rid of things immediately. The sooner you bring your amity pile to the local Goodwill, the sooner you will feel better, and the less likely you are to go back into that bag for something you really do not need or want. Same goes for garbage or recycling.

When cleaning & sorting your house, always have a garbage bag, a recycling bin & an amity pile within arms reach. You are more likely to get rid of things you do not need to keep if the opportunity is close by.

Whether you’re cleaning, organizing, sorting or purgeing – always start from the top of the house and move your way down. In each room, start from left to right.

If you have several levels in your house; have a laundry basket or a box for each floor. It will feel like it is taking way too long if you’re finding objects that belong downstairs, and you stop what you’re doing and put it down there. Chances are you will get side tracked and start cleaning something else or you will find that you’re running up and down the stairs a lot which is very time consuming. It is much smarter to carry a basket down once or twice

Have fun!!! Leave the kitchen & freezer for a whole other day as this is time consuming sometimes. We will discuss it later this week. Watch for it!

Like I said in yesterdays post, over the March Break I spent 6 days cleaning out my inlaws house. When I say cleaning I mean decluttering, organizing, sorting & washing. In with the new, out with the old.

One thing I have always told people is; everything has a place, you just have to find it!!

Yesterday I discussed paperwork. Everyone has a space in their home where they put their opened mail, and paperwork they’ve collected throughout the week. Check out the yesterday’s post; The Ultimate Spring Cleaning Day ONE for tips & tricks to resolving the issue, and how to easily organize and deal with what is already there.

Clothing closets are usually a great place to start. You will feel accomplished and refreshed when you’ve taken the time to weed out clothes that you don’t wear, don’t fit, or you don’t like anymore. Put these in your ‘amity pile’. If you are someone who has a lot of clothing, make the time to try everything on. You may find that you want to get rid of stuff that is too big. After all, who has a goal of gaining weight? Chances are, none of us. I know we’ve all done it; pulled out a shirt, and thought “this is ugly” or “this has a stain” but thrown it back in the drawer. Here are some tips when cleaning out your clothing packed closets:

Start with quality. Is there a hole, stain or major pilling or fading? Get rid of them. No sense in keeping these things. You can throw it in the garbage or give it to amity.

Next is style. We know that sometimes a style from the 80’s or even the 60’s pops back into our lives. But are you really going to hold onto your poodle skirt in hopes that one day it may come back to the runway? I don’t think so. It’s time to get rid of those tapered & washed out jeans, the thick turtle necks and over-sized knit sweaters. Rule of thumb: If you haven’t worn it in the last year or more – you probably never will. Especially if you’ve been through all 4 seasons and it still hasn’t been chosen. How many times have you pulled an item out the closet and thought, I like these shoes, but I don’t have anything to wear it with! Get rid of things that you cannot match. No point in holding onto something you never find an outfit to pair it with.

With all the clothes that are left, consider their fitting. If it’s too big, it’s time for it to go. If it’s slightly too small and you know you have a few pounds to lose, keep them – but put them somewhere separate. Rule of thumb: If it is too big – get rid of it. If you put on an outfit, and you don’t feel confident & cool – get rid of it.

Now its time to consider quantity. There is no need for 10 of something that you only wear a few times a year. It is time to get rid of some. Think about the above rules, and start purging. There are people out there who don’t have any clothes but the ones on their backs. Someone could use them if you’re not. Narrow down your multiples, and choose your favourites. An area where I have trouble doing this is with shoes. I am sure many of you are in the same boat as me. As much as I love high heels, and think their super sexy, I have to be realistic in knowing that when I go out and have to dress up – whether their pumps, peep toe or strappy, I always go for the plain black ones. Why bother keeping the others? Rule of thumb: If you wear the shoes for 10 minutes around the house and have sore feet, their no good for you, ditch them. Their just taking up space.

Once you’ve emptied your closet, and have your piles. Consider a closet organizer before you put them back in. They range from all different prices and are fairly simple to install. Not a necessity, but a definite pro! One thing you want to avoid is having your personal belongings in more than one closet throughout the home. You will definitely forget what you own, and end up purchasing stuff you don’t need. It is better to have everything in one place. When you do put them back in, consider putting items of similarily together. For example; organize by work suits, pants, short sleeves & long sleeves and dresses. Then casual pants, short & long sleeves & dresses. Put all of your belts, scarves and purses together.

After you’ve done your own closet, you may want to tackle your spouses or your kids. Depending on how old your children are, they can probably do this on their own. Men are known for hoarding suit pants and jackets that don’t fit them anymore. Have your man try his on. If their too small – amity. If their too big – bring it to the tailor. As for your children; don’t be afraid to purge. You can bring it to a store that allows clothing swaps and get them a bunch of new clothes.

GOOD LUCK!

SPRING CLEANING TIPS:

Always start with your sorting & organizing before your cleaning.

Choose one area to tackle, or one item to tackle at a time; closets, books, clothing, paperwork, bedrooms, etc.

So over the March Break I spent 6 days cleaning out my inlaws house. When I say cleaning I mean decluttering, organizing, sorting & washing. In with the new, out with the old. They have a large house with 4 bedrooms (3 of which are spare rooms), a full kitchen, 3 bathrooms, a living room and a great room. It is just filllllllllled with stuff. One thing I have always told people is; everything has a place, you just have to find it!!

I am going to spend this week going through the classic mistakes that most of us make on a regular basis in our homes, and solutions & tips for them.

CLASSIC MISTAKE ONE:

Too much paperwork! It can be overwhelming to walk past piles of paperwork on a daily basis, but putting it in boxes and bags is not the solution. All you’re doing is procrastinating the inevitable, and making it more difficult to find stuff when you need it. Most of us have a home office, but if you don’t – you need to create one. Whether it’s in your basement, the corner of a room, or even in a closet, you need a space that is for keeping & organizing your important paperwork.

SOLUTION:

First of all, if you haven’t already, you need to go to the store, or to garage sales, and purchase a filing cabinet. The size or number of them depends completely on how much stuff you have to file, how many people you have in your family, and of course how much space you have to store them. Don’t forget to go to the Dollarama or office supply store and get file folders and hanging folders to stay organized.

Next; spend an entire day ONLY focusing on sorting paperwork around the house. If you don’t have a lot of floor space to do this, you need some empty boxes. First go through each room in the house and collect your random piles of paper and bring it to your sorting space. Choose 4 or 5 main categories such as; financial, home, household, leisure and home business. Then you need to sort choose one and sort them into broad categories; utility bills, personal bills, receipts, family members, school stuff, photos, recipes, work stuff, brochures, medical, taxes, etc. Once you’ve got your piles, you choose one at a time, and organize it. If it’s utility bills you need to sort by company; Gas, Hydro, Cable, Phone… Have a file folder for each one. With a permanent marker, label it. Put everything in it, and then file it in your filing cabinet. One down. Move on to personal bills; sort by bank name, whose VISA it is, or whatever works best for your pile. Again – label it, and file it immediately.

Chances are that you will have a miscellaneous pile. Usually you can sort through this one at the very end and find places where you can file it away. But what you need to be conscience of is that its probably in the miscellaneous pile because you don’t need it. It’s okay to have a folder just for miscellaneous items, but don’t be afraid to shred and recycle.

Another paper hoarding mistake that many make is with magazine & newspaper subscriptions. Now adays you can download a magazine stand application on your cell phone, iPad or e-reader. Better yet, everything you read in your magazine can usually be found on their website too. Try to cut back on this by using your online sources. Cancel your subscriptions and try not to purchase magazines when you’re in line at the grocery store. If you absolutely prefer to have them in your hand, then recycle them when everyone in the house is done. You can also use your online resources by doing online banking. My husband and I have all of our bills come out of our house account. It is usually on the same day each month so we have a calendar on the fridge with those dates & amounts marked. You will see these bill payments on your bank statements too. So why not ask your utility companies for paperless billing?

Paper Saving/Organizing Tips:

* Have a cute & stylish box, paper holder, stacking tracy or wicker basket for your kitchen that you can keep your daily mail and paper work in. As soon as a piece of paper comes into your home, you should make a decision about what to do with it. However realtity is, sometimes you do not have the time to bring things to your office and file it, but if you make it your goal to keep it all in one place, and then sort the paperwork once or twice a week, you will not be overwhelmed.

* Have a box or envelope in your new office space specifically for business cards. A lot of us collect them, and leave them all over the place; kitchen drawers, bags and purses, coat pockets, paper piles. When you need one, you cannot find it. If you want to get extra organized, get index cards that fit in your business card box, and sort alphabetically.

* Have one sprial paper notebook where you take all of your notes, etc. Instead of taking down a phone number on a napkin, write it in this book. Instead of leaving or taking a message on the back of a random envelope, use your notebook. Have you ever ripped out the corner from an envelope so you can keep someones address but have no idea where it went? Tape it into your notebook, or write it down in there. If you order something online, or pay a bill through online banking – you do not need to print the confirmation out. Simply write the date, price, and confirmation number in your notebook.

* RIP-IT-UP! Have a mini recycling bin in your kitchen & office space. When you open mail, rip the envelope into 2 or 3 pieces, and recyle it immediately. All the extra flyers and notes the bank sends with your statement; rip it in 2 or 3 and recyle it immediately. There is no need for all the extra paper. And there is no way to go back on your decision to throw something out if its ripped up.

Good luck to you all if you have a clutterred house, and you’re ready to start fixing it! Keep checking in every day for more ‘classic mistakes’! I will also be including basic spring cleaning tips every day. See below.

When you were pregnant, did you ever catch yourself saying “you will never understand” or “I wish you could be in my shoes for a day!”. I am sure you did! At the end of the day; no man will ever get it. I believe that females are the stronger sex. I could go on about it forever, but think about it yourself; time of the month, breastfeeding, pregnancy, labour & delivery, waxing, hair treatments. I remember a funny magnet I saw when I was younger. It was something like this… “Have you ever noticed that all of women’s problems start with “MEN”??: MENstruation, MENstrual cramps, MENopause, MENtal anxiety, MENtal breakdowns, GUYnecologist, HISterectomy. I know the spelling on the last 2 is completely off, but it’s still funny!

Now back to the purpose of this blog; a bit of laughter imagining life if Men were the ones who got pregnant…

* If Men Got Pregnant… Maternity leave would last two years….with full pay.

* If Men Got Pregnant… There would be a cure for stretch marks.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Natural childbirth would become obsolete.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Morning sickness would rank as the nation’s #1 health problem.

* If Men Got Pregnant… All methods of birth control would be 100% effective.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Children would be kept in the hospital until toilet trained.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Men would be eager to talk about commitment.

* If Men Got Pregnant… They wouldn’t think twins were so cute.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Sons would have to be home from dates by 10:00 PM.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Briefcases would be used as diaper bags.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Paternity suits would be a fashion line of clothes.

* If Men Got Pregnant… They’d stay in bed during the entire pregnancy.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Restaurants would include ice cream and pickles as main entrees.

* If Men Got Pregnant… They’d have to stop saying, “I’m afraid I’ll drop him”.

* If Men Got Pregnant… Women would rule the world.

I know, I know… a little ridiculous. And men could never handle the emotional, physical and mental toll pregnancy and child birth can take on you. But it would be nice if they could do it for half of the time right? Got anymore to add to the list?

I realise I could find a bunch of cool crafts on the internet but I think I will recommend ones that I have actually done in the past with the kids at my old centre.

ACTIVITIES:

Lucky BINGO! You can see this in the picture above. We used green paper & green Smarties/M&Ms! You can get all green candies at the Bulk Barn right now. Anything will work! The kids love Bingo, but can get tired of it. Its a nice way to change it up, and they can eat their chips after.

Pot of Gold Guessing Game: Get a large container that closes. Fill it with green & gold candies. I did this with green jelly beans and chocolates wrapped in gold foil. Object of the game is to give kids a small piece of paper, and a pencil and have them guess how many candies there are in the container. Closest to, wins! If you have younger kids, you can use green grapes & pineapple, and just pick a number. If you have older kids, they may end up counting them after they’ve won – so you should count them as you put them in! lol

CRAFTS:

St. Pattys Day T-Shirt: This can be messy but there are many ways to go about it! I chose to to tie-dye tshirts. I found 2 different shades of green food colouring and purchased some fabric paints. I did this at a big center and the parents each brought in a white tshirt that fit their kids. Twist your shirt very tight and wrap rubber bands around it, spaced out, and random. Dipp different parts of the shirt in the dye. You dont need a lot. A bit on the side, a bit on the end. Fold it and dip part of it. When it has completely dried, you can take the bands off and untwist your shit. Here is a link for some different designs you can try! You can afterwards use sponges, paint brushes and your fingers to paint letters or shamrocks, or rainbows on your shirt. Another option would be to use multiple colours for your shirt and then sponge on green shamrocks and pots of gold. Either are great, festive and a fun activity.

Leprechaun: I do this with Santa at Christmas & Witches at Halloween too. Use paper plates, construction paper, glue & scissors. I used a small paper plate for the head, and a large one for the body. Kaboose made one too. However in ours, we use butterfly pins so the legs and arms can move around.

Leprechaun Hat Chip Bowl: This is great if you’re having a St. Patricks Day Party, or if you’re having a family night on the 17th! Use a left over tupperware such as an ice cream tub. After you have cleaned and dried it, wrap green paper all around it using glue or tape. You want to cut a large circle out in the green paper that is wider than the container you have wrapped. The top of the hat sits on this. Using black & yellow/gold construction paper, cut and paste a belt around the bottom of the tub. Once the glue is all dry, you can fill it with your favorite kind of chips or popcorn!

Shamrock Hat: Cut a green strip of paper about 1 1/2 – 2 inches wide. Measure it around your head to make sure it will fit. Attach the 2 ends with glue, tape or a stapler. Cut out a Shamrock using green paper, and decorate it with glue and green sparkles, stickers or sequens. Glue the Shamrock to your headband! Tada!

There are so many different crafts out there. You can make bookmarks, doorhangers, signs, cards, goodie bags, jewelery, clothes and hats. Have fun with it! If you’re having a little St Pattys Day party – dont forget your leprechaun hat chip bowl, green food die for your drinks & green & gold candy!

I remember when I was a kid we counted down the days, and then the hours until March Break came! Usually I went away with my family. But as we all got a bit older, we just loved knowing we didn’t have homework or an alarm clock. Now that I am a mom, I wonder; what do you parents do for March Break? R is still very young – and since the weather is going to be fantastic this week, we will be spending most of our March break outside playing with the dogs, and going on walks. But I know childcare sometimes can be an issue on a week like this, as school is out and YMCA before/after care programs (& others) fill up fast. Whether you’re a parent with some time off, a stay at home mom or dad, or are taking on some of your friends or family members children, here is a list of some things you can do!

Check out your local library. On any given day this is a great place to take kids. Not only do they have tons of great books for kids to read and enjoy, but they have educational computer games, reading clubs, story time and so much more. On March Break they usually run several activities and special days to cater to families who are looking for something fun to do! Story time, face painting, races, magic shows, crafts, board games, LEGO & early Easter egg hunts!

Make it simple: go for walks to parks you’ve never been to, or to trails. Bring a bag for your kids to collect “cool” items. Send them on a mission to find the biggest, strongest walking stick. If you’re in Southern Ontario, you will be enjoying the beautiful weather this week. So take advantage of it! Pack a picnic with you!!

Go to your local YMCA! They are open all day, and will be packed with kids! Show up early for drop in programs. You will find something for all ages; from newborn to adult! Swimming, sports, exercising, crafts, games, drop in programs, camps and so much more.

CRAFTS, CRAFTS, CRAFTS! They take up lots of time, and can be very fun! Great for all age groups too!

If you’re fortunate enough to have snow: tobogganing/sledding or skating – do it!!!

Cooking: This is a great opportunity to get your kids involved in meal preparation! Or get out the icing and make some baked goods! These things are time consuming, learning opportunities, help gain social skills - but have a tasty reward!

Spring Cleaning: I know some of the kids will hate this, but the younger ones will enjoy following you around and trying to be helpful. Give them tasks, and make them feel important. Go outside, rake out your garden. Let the little ones get messy in the dirt, and the older ones do some gardening/planting/pruning.

More specifically; if you’re in the Halton/Hamilton/GTA area here are some March break events going on!

Check out your local outdoor museums/parks: Mountsberg, Westfield Heritage & Bronte Creek are all great for planning activities for the family, but are also a cool place to go for the day. Your kids will learn, be outside, walking around, and having fun!

Spring Fling at the Rogers Centre in Toronto! Check it out (link is below in pink). Its an indoor carnival with rides, games, activities, Reptiles, and much more! It’s for the whole family, and you can get tickets online!

Terra Greenhouses in Burlington (Dundas Street) has FREE pottery painting Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday!

See what your local library/rec centre are offerring this week by clicking here: March Break Activities

The City of Toronto has a list of things going on for March break too – some very interesting and exciting things! Check it out! or visit the Toronto March Break Guide!

Most importantly, have a great time!!

So I had to share a little something I found through a daddy blogger, which comes originally from handsonaswegrow.com – These are some creative ideas of crafts and activities that you can do with a box of crayons and an imagination!

You have to check them out, some of them are awesome! Click the orange link below:

35 Uses for Crayons

BUT one that didn’t make it on their list; melted crayon murel, which you can see in the image above. My daughter got this for her 1st birthday from our friend. This craft can cost you as little as $3! Go to Dollarama and buy a box of crayons ($1.25) & a blank canvas ($2). Glue the crayons onto the canvas however you’d like. Once dry, use a hair dryer on high heat and allow the wax to slowly melt & drip. VOILA! You can add extras such as stick on flowers or lettering. Such a creative, easy and awesome gift idea! Ours looks awesome in our playroom!

Are you a stay at home mom/dad? Do you feel that sometimes people underestimate how exhausting, long and busy your days can be? Its not just the long term stay at home parents that deal with some of these things either, its the parents that are on maternity or parental leave too!! You just don’t get it until you’ve experienced it! After some research, I have compiled a list of 35 things you should never say to a stay at home parent!

When the kids are older, do you think you’ll get a real job?

Oh, so you don’t work?

So what do you do all day, anyway?

Since you have extra time on your hands, could you whip up a few dozen brownies for the bake sale tomorrow?

I’m sure you’re not the only one who has wasted money on a degree.

It must be nice to not have a boss!

Unlike you, I have to work all day tomorrow!

All day with your kids? I can’t even imagine.

I’m jealous. I wish my husband/wife were rich so I wouldn’t have to work either.

Don’t worry; I’m sure you’re not the only one who’s ever wasted money on a college degree.

That explains why your kid is so clingy!

Weird. I assumed your house would be super clean

Why do you need a holiday? What would you even do that you don’t do now?

Could you babysit my child, since you’re already home?

Can you tell me what happens in Days of Our Lives?

I’d go crazy without any mental stimulation all day

Your husband/wife is ok with you staying home?

Didn’t you graduate with honors? I thought you had a masters degree; don’t you want to use it?

How June Cleaver of you!

Unlike you, I have to work all day tomorrow!

Since you’re not doing anything all day, do you mind running an errand for me?

It must be nice to relax all day.

Why isn’t dinner ready? You’ve had plenty of time.

Why is it such a mess in here, what have you been doing all day?

I don’t understand what is so difficult about washing and putting away laundry.

Don’t you get bored just sitting at home every day?

Your job is so easy.

You should really control your children.

Wow, your husband/wife LETS you stay at home. You’re so lucky you don’t have to work at a real job.

Why does it look like a bomb exploded in here? You should really pick up during the day.

It must be nice to have a nap in the afternoons.

You look like hell. Why didn’t you take a shower?

Wow I’d love it if I didn’t have to get dressed up for work every day!

How could you need a break?

Don’t you wish you did something more important during the day?
