Baby Food Recipes
Basic daily meals for my little R consists of oatmeal with fruit and cinnamon or whole yogurt with fruit and cinnamon. She enjoys things such as rice, potatos and navy beans with veggies and garlic for lunch or dinner. She eats toast with mashed bananas and strawberries as well. Now that I have been giving her homo milk, she also has rice krispies or cheerios with milk as I am trying to teach her to use a spoon (so far very unsuccessful lol). Well, if you were to ask me about one of my favorite parts of watching Rachel develop and grow up – its been observing and changing her eating habits! The day my doctor okayed starting R on food, I was SO excited. I had my baby bullet, my fresh veggies and fruits, my allergy guide and a hungry baby! I made my rice cereal from scratch and would add it to my freshly pureed F&Vs. First up was rice cereal but she wasn’t a fan.
