Day 14 of Becoming a Better Parent Preserve memories…Pictures, traditions, holidays — how do YOU and YOUR FAMILY preserve memories? My family has a lot of tradition and routine. From Fathers Day golf tournaments and New Years Eve cousin potlucks  to Easter game tournaments and Christmas. For example at Christmas; every year we all sleep at my moms house the night before and read the same stories. Myth#3 (Men can’t be active parents & providers)

Men that are active fathers cannot make it in the working world! BIG FALSE!!!!!! It’s exhausting to hear about how men are supposed to be the providers and bring in the money. First of all, times have changed and not all families go by that rule. There IS such thing as a stay at home Dad, and dual income families are so common these days that daycares now take children under the age of 10 months!
